A Short and Easy-to-Remember Style Guide for Choosing a Pair of Trendy Reading Glasses

By

As a rule of thumb, the shape of your trendy reading glasses should be in contrast with the shape of your face. If you have loved the “combo look” all these years, where your shoes match your bag, your belt, your earrings and your jewelries, it is time to experiment away from this get-up and go for something that creates diversion from your usual mode of dressing and stirs impact – on your personality, at least.

A man or woman with a round face would look gorgeous in rectangular-shaped reading glasses, and one who has a square face can “soften” the strong angles of his face by wearing narrow frames that lend an illusion of length. Round-shaped trendy reading glasses are also good choices.

The following list provides an easy-to-remember style guide for people who are buying their trendy reading glasses, the first time:

1. Next to finding the shape of your face is determining the color of your skin. Skin tones may either be warm or cool. Warm skin tone has a yellowish shade and goes well with trendy reading glasses of natural colors, such as brown, tan, gold or orange while cool skin tone, one that has a tinge of pink or bluish shade goes well with dark colors, such as dark red, black, or blue.

2. Do not wear large reading glasses that far exceed the width of your face! Infuse some sense into your fashion style, and do not readily fall victim to trends, unless they suit you.

Trendy reading glasses are available on the internet. Posheyewear.com, an industry leader in fashionable eyewear, reminds its clients to always ask for money-back guarantee when shopping online, at stores they have not had any dealings yet. It is also wise to learn about consumer protection policies on product replacement or refund, in case you deal with these issues in the future.

I had never heard of posheyewear site before. Thanks for the info. It is good to know about. I'll share this info with my mom who regularly wears reading glasses.

Thanks for the info! I never wore glasses, but am beginning to need reading magnifiers. I have a round face, in fact, I always felt that I was "all face." I tried cheap glasses, and finally did decide that rectangular ones did look best on me. But I guess my face isn't as hugely round as I think, because sometimes the ones I pick to try on are too wide, or the rectangular parts are too big. I realized my face is smaller than I think!
